Honoring MaryAnn’s Legacy

MaryAnn Anselmo was a gifted jazz singer, songwriter, and pianist whose music touched the hearts of many. Throughout her life, she not only shared her incredible talent but also dedicated herself to helping others. Whether it was through her performances or her acts of kindness, MaryAnn had a way of making the world a better place.

As we remember her, we are honoring her legacy by supporting the causes she held close to her heart. All monies raised through this GoFundMe will go to the charities that MaryAnn was passionate about. These include organizations that promote music education, cancer research, and other initiatives she believed in.

About MaryAnn

MaryAnn has been fighting inoperable brain cancer for the last 11 years, but her fighting spirit has never waned. While limiting her singing and acting career (www.MaryAnnAnselm.com) her spirit and energy were never dimmed. As the co-author of Through Fire and Rain, she shared her condition, treatments and results with others similarly situated, motivating, and encouraging so many people to be more than they can be.

Unfortunately, on March 2, 2023, MaryAnn suffered a major brain seizure, leaving her hospitalized and unable to use the left side of her body or walk and stand on her own. From a rehab facility in Florida, Mary Ann was discharged as per her wishes to spend her recovery at home with her husband Joe.

Her devoted husband, for the last 11 years, led the fight and left “no stone unturned” but now her journey has ended, and she is now rests in peace.

As a community, we can make a difference, as she has for others with her condition, with a contribution to her fundraising campaign. Any amount helps!
