As some of you may have heard, MaryAnn and Sonny were involved in a serious car accident back in mid-March. Among their injuries, they have both been diagnosed with traumatic brain injuries. The road to recovery is ahead of them, but the length of time and exactly what it will look like remains to be seen. Neither have been able to work since the accident 4 months ago, and will be unable work for an undetermined amount of time while they are rehabilitating with multiple health care providers. Sadly, for MaryAnn, this means her having to close her manual therapy practice of 22 years.
If you are reading this, it is assumed you have some connection to Sonny and MaryAnn and already know them and know they would do anything for anybody. They are kind, loving, supportive, and VERY family and community oriented. If you need something and they can do it - consider it done. An ear to listen, a shoulder to cry on, a ride, an errand, doesn’t matter - whatever you need. They’ll even give you their homemade pie out of their fridge at 6pm on Thanksgiving Eve to save you from the grocery store holiday madness (true story).
It is no wonder many have reached out asking what they can do and where they can contribute.
Sonny and MaryAnn haven’t had the capacity to respond to all the calls and emails asking what can be done to help so this account was created as the best way to respond to those wishing to come together to help MaryAnn and Sonny during this difficult time.
Many thanks for any contributions, thoughts, prayers, or positive vibes sent their way. Please keep them in your hearts. Wishing you all health and happiness.
