I am humbly come to you seeking your help.
I wasn't going to ask, but I thought if any of you needed help and I could be of help I would want you to ask me.
I lost my job in July 2018,
I then went on to do some physical therapy I had put off for years and started looking again first of the year in January.
I also looked into claiming disability.
- So between not being able to make money and halfway looking for a job, not to interfere with the disability. I found myself a month behind in my rent.
- I started looking for help as I was waiting for the disability, which I still have a few months before that will start.
- I was told I couldn't get help until I would be threatened with eviction.
I was threatened last week that it was coming, so all the places that said I had to wait, now claim they would only help if I had a child living with me.
(A 60-year-old single woman is not worthy of help in PG County.)
I now owe January and February over $3K. If I do not pay I will be evicted.
(Yesterday I secured February Rent) So I am now looking for at least $2,500 to cover the March rent and fees, and expenses.
I have abandoned my disability claim, for now, I am looking for a full-time job. I have a second interview with a company CRDF Global in Arlington on Monday if this works out, they have an excellent benefits package. And I will be set.
I will just have to learn to live with some pain.
