Supporting Mary on Her Road to Recovery
For those who may not have heard, Mary has recently been through a very serious medical emergency. She suffered a significant diverticulitis perforation and was beginning to go septic. Thankfully, the infection was mostly contained to a small area and did not spread throughout her abdomen, a true blessing considering how critical the situation was.
Mary underwent emergency surgery, spent several days in the ICU, and then a few more in the recovery unit. She now faces at least eight weeks away from work to focus on healing and regaining her strength. While she is slowly improving and moving in the right direction, her recovery will be a long and challenging journey.
So many of you have reached out asking how you can help, and that kindness means the world. At this time, financial support would make the greatest impact. Mary is facing:
• The cost of modified clothing as she adjusts to a temporary ostomay bag
• Housing adjustments due to lifting restrictions
• Large medical bills and co-pays from surgery and hospitalization
• Ongoing dietary changes and supplies to support her recovery
These unexpected expenses have created a financial strain. Any amount you’re able to contribute will go directly toward easing this burden and helping Mary focus on what matters most, healing and getting back to full health.
Thank you all for your continued love, prayers, and support. Our community is truly incredible, and your generosity means more than words can express.
