Hi friends! In case there are people who do not know me, I am a low-income person of color who currently is living in the Bay Area to get my Top Surgery done. I recently graduated from UC Berkeley and am living at a queer co-op. Rather than move back home to So Cal, I decided to stay in the Bay for safety reasons.  As you know, I have been trying to get Top Surgery for over the last year or so. Despite getting a third job on top of going to school full time, I am still struggling to make it to the goal of my surgery costs. My family is inputting zero support for various reasons that I have been vocal about to a few friends and on a few socials. I currently am staying at a queer-themed house so I am emotionally supported yet I am still struggling with the finances. On top of that, my current job is only temporary so at any point, they can let me go which leaves me in an unstable position and also anxiety-inducing considering I do not know how finances will look in the coming months. I will be recovering for two weeks which will leave me one paycheck less which most of my checks go to my car so I am also calculating that into the goal. This surgery is important to me and to feel at home in my body. It has been something that I desperately want and need so I ask for any help to help me achieve this,
