1991 - 2023

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the unexpected passing of our beloved sister, best friend and daughter Mary Stephanie Salinas on March 11, 2023. As the sole breadwinner of a family of four, her family has been overcome not only with the shock of a tremendous loss but great economic impact, too. The family is not prepared for the financial responsibilities that come along with the handling of funeral expenses and other costs.

Please help us honor the Legacy of Mary Salinas and Support Her Family.

After someone loses a loved one, there are many things to take care of and unfortunately, financial circumstances don’t always play out the way we want them to. We never imagined that our best friend would leave us this way & that her family would be in the circumstance of having to make a request for funeral donations from family, friends and our community.

We are raising funds to help cover the travel expenses to bring her home, funeral and burial expenses and to assist her family in getting their financial hardships in order during this challenging time.

Mary was a bright light to everyone that knew her. She was loving with a strong character, spontaneous, a collector of many things, had a contagious laugh, & was always up for an adventure no matter what it was. We all shared special moments with her (individually and as a group). She was adored by her friends and colleagues for her spunky, quick-witted humor and easy-going personality. She became a sister and daughter to many friends and family that knew her.

Her passing has left a void that cannot be replaced & we are still shocked that we are writing this but we believe that by coming together as a community, we can provide some relief and support to the family during this difficult time and those to come.

All funds raised through this campaign will go directly towards the funeral and burial expenses of Mary Salinas and towards helping her family get their financial affairs in order.

Mary touched the lives of so many people throughout our community as an employee of our local Smart & Final. We appreciate any support you can offer and thank you for honoring the legacy of Mary and supporting her family.

Es con gran pesar que anunciamos el inesperado fallecimiento de nuestra querida hermana, mejor amiga e hija Mary Salinas el 11 de marzo de 2023. Ella era la única proveedora de una familia de cuatro, y su familia se ha visto afectada negativamente no solo por el impacto de una tremenda pérdida, sino también por un gran impacto económico. La familia no está preparada para las responsabilidades financieras que vienen junto con el manejo de los gastos funerarios y otros costos.

Después de que alguien pierde a un ser querido, hay muchas cosas de las que ocuparse y, desafortunadamente, las circunstancias financieras no siempre se desarrollan de la manera que queremos.

Nunca imaginamos que nuestra mejor amiga nos dejaría de esta manera y que su familia estaría en la circunstancia de tener que hacer una solicitud de donaciones funerales de familiares, amigos y nuestra comunidad.

Mientras lloramos su pérdida, también queremos honrar su memoria.

Estamos recaudando fondos para ayudar a cubrir los gastos de transportación a California, del funeral y el entierro y para ayudar a su familia a poner en orden sus dificultades financieras durante este momento difícil.

Mary era una luz brillante para todos los que la conocían. Era cariñosa con un carácter fuerte, trabajadora, luchona, espontánea, coleccionista de muchas cosas, tenía una risa contagiosa, y siempre estaba dispuesta a una aventura sin importar lo que fuera. Todos compartimos momentos especiales con ella (individualmente y en grupo). Fue adorada por sus amigos y colegas y tenía una personalidad que alumbraba el cuarto. Se convirtió en hermana e hija de muchos amigos y familiares que la conocieron.

Su fallecimiento ha dejado un vacío que no puede ser reemplazado y todavía estamos sorprendidos de que estemos escribiendo esto, pero creemos que al unirnos como comunidad, podemos brindar algo de alivio y apoyo a la familia durante este momento difícil y los que vendrán.

Mary tocó las vidas de tantas personas en toda nuestra comunidad ya que trabajaba en nuestra tienda local de Smart & Final. Agradecemos cualquier apoyo que pueda ofrecer. Gracias por honrar el legado de Mary y por apoyar a su familia durante este momento difícil.
