Mary Remick Open Heart Surgery Recovery

Hello friends, I’m reaching out to you because our dear friend, Mary Remick, is scheduled open heart surgery on 12/21 and needs our help.

Mary was born with a congenital heart defect that went undetected until she was old enough for Senior Citizens discounts. Open heart surgery is the only treatment available.

As you may know, Mary cares for her elderly mother, Carolyn, who will need care while Mary is hospitalized for a week and then for several more weeks while Mary recuperates.

Mary is an incredibly talented and giving massage therapist and esthetician who has given us all so much in terms of wellness. Mary is also self-employed which means resources are limited especially since taking on care of her Mom over the past six years.

Mary’s recovery will be about three months, that’s three months with no income.

Being a single, self employed, care giver is challenging but not being able to work and having no income while recovering is a lot for anyone to handle.
