Tipperary Mother & Son Skydive for Gaza Aid

Donation protected
On February 11, Nenagh Grandmother, Mary Mc Donnell, aged 75, along with her son Michael are doing a skydive this February to raise funds for Gaza.

The pair have been witnessing the utter devastation suffered by the Palestinian people since last October and the decided to do something drastic to show solidarity and raise funds. Both Mary and Michael have been longstanding supporters of the plight of the Palestinian people and are founding members of Nenagh Friends of Palestine which was established in 2014 after a previous bombing campaign by Israel that year.

Being the adventurous spirits they are, Michael and Mary decided that a 10,000 foot jump from an aeroplane for charity would be the way highlight the cause!

Mary was born in 1948, the same year as the establishment of the state of Israel. Throughout her lifetime, Mary has witnessed the discrimination, brutality, apartheid system and murder of innocent Palestinian civilians over the last 75 years.

Any donations would be greatly appreciated. All funds raised will be going directly to 2 grassroots organisations that are based in Gaza – Medical Aid for Palestinians and Palestine Children's Relief Fund
