Mary Matthew's Road to Recovery

On June 11th, 2022 my whole life changed, I stopped breathing and my heart stopped. Thanks to the love of my life, Jim, he did CPR and called 911. I was taken by ambulance to Englewood Hospital, where I was intubated for three days. On the fourth day, I received two stints to the main arterie to my heart. They also think I had a Stroke, plus a Seizure. I can not drive for three months and I have been out of work for six weeks and will hopefully try to return to work part-time soon. Not sure when or if I'll ever go back full-time. I have no Insurance, and the Doctors still don't know what was or is wrong will me. The expenses are rising. Doctor Bills are coming in, Salon bills and Hospital.

About Me:

I am a 37-year resident of Englewood and Venice. I started out as a single mom with two sons, and built a 21-year clientele at Crazy Horse and Co. Salon of Venice. That's where it all started with giving to this community. We did all the Englewood Elementary Cut-A-Thons. 13 years ago, I opened A New Wave Salon & Spa, Inc on Dearborn Street in Old Englewood. I supported all local Charities; supporting local children are always my heart. I've always supported all, big or little. I have always been proud that I could help my little town that always helps each other. Now I have to ask for some help.
