Everyone needs a why. 
Establishing the Mary Mahoney Memorial Scholarship through The Charlotte Post Foundation offers a sense of purpose in a situation that doesn't make a lot of sense. She died from cancer on Aug. 20, 2017. An incredible artist who nurtured the talents of others, we will provide one scholarship to a Charlotte artist pursuing higher education. To honor her birthday, July 18, as well as mine, June 12, we hope to raise $1,330 ($718 + $612) for the inaugural scholarship campaign. Donations can be made through July 18.
