Mary Lou is a Registered Nurse and has spent her life caring for others and her family. Mary Lou has a wonderful husband, son, and grandson. In January 2021, Mary Lou was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma and her journey through treatments began. Since then, Mary Lou has been undergoing lots of tests and chemotherapy treatments. Mary Lou is scheduled to visit the Markey Cancer Center at UK this week and is hopeful to get her plan for a Stem Cell Transplant, possibly in July. This will include several trips to Lexington, as well as, hotel stays, gas and food. I have had several people ask how they can help, so I thought we could all help to assist them with this part of their treatment journey! We appreciate all donations and prayers for our Lou during this journey. Mary Lou is strong in her faith and holds close to her Lord during this time.
