She found her calling to be a nurse, just like her beloved Aunt Betty Earlywine, and received her Nursing Degree from Loyola University Nursing School. She worked in the MICU for over 25 years at Loyola University Hospital in Maywood, IL. This was her first and only job…a true testament of her desire to live out her life of service to others. Mary took exceptional pride in precepting new nurses, helping new medical residents and respiratory therapists. Her love for helping and caring for others was the epitome of her nursing career as well as her family life.
