Marie Joseph Spiritual Center-roof!

On April 20, 2018 our father, Robert “Bob” Huot, passed away unexpectedly and far too soon. He left us before his work was done. He cooked until his last days with his “work family” at the Marie Joseph Spiritual Center (mariejosephspiritual.org). The center held a special place in his heart. The building dates back to the late 1800’s and was transformed into a spiritual center, serving all faiths, in 1978. He always wanted to help the Sisters, to make sure they were taken care of and had what they needed.

 He wanted to build a fence around the Virgin Mary for them but the fact that they needed a roof and siding on the dormers seemed to make his idea trivial as people would wonder "why would they build a fence when they need a roof". Mom and Dad could not afford to put a roof on the Center...so he waited.

 Well, with his passing, we would like to leave a lasting legacy in our father’s name and fulfill his wish to get Marie Joseph Spiritual Center a new roof and siding on the dormers so his Sisters can rest as ease. Perhaps we could then finish off with the fence around the Virgin Mary. We will be planning and holding all kinds of fundraisers to help reach his goal. This Go-Fund-Me page is just the start...
