We are mourning the recent loss of Mary Jo Mullen. Mary's death in December shocked us all. Her warmth and sense of fun are missed by those who have been touched by Mary Jo's love. Not only is Mary Jo missed, but she left her teenage son, Colin, orphaned.
Our fundraiser is twofold:
We hope to provide for a memorial service in Mary's honor and provide community support, gathering together and closure for those who knew and love her.
The second purpose is to help with Colin as he transitions from the orphanage home to adulthood. Whether his goals include a workplace or educational pursuit, we hope to send him off with beginning financial support.
In addition to the go fundme campaign, on March 2nd, We will be having a fundraising sale at Vertigo Home featuring Mary Jo's extensive collection of Katharine Story legacy pieces. Katharine Story will be co-hosting and 100% of the proceeds from these items will go towards Mary Jo's memorial and Colin's trust.
