Mary Gleaves, amazing mother, wife, friend and nurse passed very unexpectedly on Wednesday, March 22, 2017 after being ill with flu-like symptoms. Mary worked two jobs incredibly hard to support her family whom she adored. She was currently in the process of buying a home for herself, her husband, 3 children and a step child, aged 7 to 21. Incredibly compassionate and friendly, Mary warmed the hearts of all whom she touched. As an Acute Rehabilitation RN, she played a significant role in helping others rebuild their health and lives after traumatic health situations. Patients and co-workers alike were blessed by Mary's positivity and empathy.
Mary worked hard as the sole provider for her family to provide the best she could for her family, putting her oldest daughter through nursing school and taking the family on trips to explore the world, including Disneyland and Lake Louise, Canada. She adored all of her children, working hard and fighting hard for the best for them. Even when she began not feeling well last week, she continued to work for her kids.
Unfortunately, Mary did not have life insurance. As her family struggles with this devastatingly unexpected emotional loss, the financial loss begins to surmount. This campaign is intended to at least cover proper funeral expenses for an Angel on Earth who gave without limits to others, with any excess going to her children for their needs.
