Mary Ellen Maraldo

On May 10, 2022 Mary Ellen Egan Maraldo's life was forever changed. After a fall in the grocery store followed by an emergency room visit, she was diagnosed with Glioblastoma, an aggressive form of brain cancer. Mary Ellen underwent brain surgery to remove a large part of the tumor but she still has a long road ahead of her.

 

On June 20th, Mary Ellen will begin 6 weeks of chemo and radiation which will then be followed by a clinical trial that she will participate in at at the Cleveland Clinic. If you know Mary Ellen, then you know she is a fighter who refuses to give up. She is being very positive and is determined to beat this. To help ease her financial burden, so that she can focus on her battle against this aggressive cancer, she could really use our support. Mary Ellen is a dear friend to so many people. She is extraordinarily kind and generous. She is one of the most thoughtful people you will ever come to know. Her children Brandon,a.k.a."Beans", Michaela, and Mariah mean everything in the world to her and as she would put it, "they are the loves of her life". This has been tough on her children but they are doing their best and taking good care of her. Mary Ellen has two special events that she will be attending soon.  Michaela is getting married to Zac in October and Mariah will marry Sean in December. Mary Ellen can't wait to watch her beautiful daughters get married and to gain two son-in-laws whom she has grown to love so much. Mary Ellen also has 7 brothers and sisters that love and support her. Their family motto has become "Egan Strong" and they plan to beat this "together".

 

Mary Ellen has a long road ahead, but with her positive attitude we are all hoping for the best. There will be many unexpected financial burdens along the way. If you are able to contribute to this fund and help with those burdens we thank you for your
