This is a fundraiser to purchase a Paving The Path Foundation Brick in honor of Mary Elizabeth Munger Barg.
Mary passed away suddenly and tragically January 25, 1999. Mary touched many lives throughout her short years on this planet. Her family will never forget how full her funeral was, nearly beyond capacity. Mary’s children, Justin, Allison, and Devin would like to honor the life and legacy of their mother by getting her a memorial brick at Sunken Gardens. This was a special place to Mary and her children. Visiting Mary’s grave hasn’t been easy for her children, and we would love for us all to have a special place to visit in her honor, that brings joy to us all.
A flower forever donation has recently been made in her honor at Sunken Gardens. We all hope you smile and think of her when you visit or drive by. Even if you are not able to donate, please still consider leaving a story about Mary to share with her children and grandchildren.
Mary was also a survivor of domestic violence. A donation pledge of $1,500 has been made in her honor to Ruth’s House, a charity that helps women fleeing abuse. Please consider making a donation to a charity of choice in her honor. Mary was very passionate about helping others, especially children.
