JUNE 23RD -- Hi everyone. Wanted to send love and some updates. TY for the go fund me help. Im very lucky to have a support group of friends. -- Sadly my update is that I am in multi organ failure. Spent 17 days on different floors of Denton Presbyterian and now finally home under full hospice care. Liver and kidneys will not recover. Some docs says weeks, some docs said that could stretch. There is no time to guide me. I am being loved very much by a wonderful man thats very strong and keeps me safe. It helps. Also friends that are family. It is scary. I wasnt quite done.  

Ive kept this hidden. Once a gf started lip flappen my hospital room kept filling up and it made me so tired. Also these machines are awful. Beeeep. Beeeeeeep. Beeep. Beep. Beeeeeeeeep. 12pm. 12 am. Lol.. It's me, Mary. Through the family tree it was relayed to me that I should do a go fund me. I have made "vague"posts on social media. I havent really said my issue directly.

MAY 2022 -- Previously was diagnosed with GBS, Guillian Barre Syndrome at the end of llast summer. Had to finally do a 911 call because I couldnt move my left leg. Admitted Aug 21st. Spent 10 days in hospital. Lumbar puncture was done to confirm diagnoses. Received an IVIG treatment then transferred to an PT/OT inpatient rehab till Sept 25th. The same day my medical insurance was cancelled.

I am wheelchair bound.

I am only supposed to walk with supervision. Thankfully my indoor apt area is wheelchair accessible. I do not have a ramp to leave. With help, I've physically left my apartment 2 times since Sept. I have to have the strength, friends have to have the strength. My wheelchair is basic, and not meant for dropping down door thresholds, through grass, over rocks.. etc.

Right now I have 24$ to my name. Spent and borrowed from close friends more than they can do. Spent and closed all but one retirement account. I'm stressed which isn't not good for GBS.

GBS you must work your body. You must rebuild muscles, and train what you have left to work properly. Oh I could go on and on. The inpatient physical rehab center was amazing. Everyone that worked with me was kind. I entered unable to walk. The therapists there took care of all my needs.

So, this is my go fund me.

Wishful thinking.

I want to get back to work by the end of March. I'd like for Pigger dog aka Junebug, to be taken care of. She needs a dog walker.

I have prescriptions. I need doctor visits. I need time to see what's available to me. I have a social worker through Texas Health and Human Services.. They are quite busy and I need to stay on their radar better.

I would like breathing room.

I read that go fund me pays through paypal. I already have an account there,and mine comes with a credit card so donations are immediate.
