Donation protected
*Update* 6/10/21
For those of you that have donated and/or reached out to support the family already, your love and generosity are greatly appreciated. Early this morning, Mary passed on and we pray that she is now at peace. Our hearts go out to her family at this time. We will continue to fund-raise to help support John and Preston. Thank you so much for continuing to share and contribute to help this family. RIP Mary. We love you.

Just before Thanksgiving of 2020 and three days after her 59th Birthday, Mary suffered a severe life-threatening stroke. For the past seven months, she has been on life-support and has suffered multiple subsequent health complications while being transported between three different medical facilities. Due to COVID restrictions, her family has had very limited opportunities for visitation since Mary was taken to the hospital in November. Mary is currently in a nursing home facility under Hospice Care at ECMC.
Mary and her family have faced hard times and tragedy prior to the pandemic and COVID only exacerbated those challenges even more. Mary and her husband John have been raising her grandson Preston since age 2, after the loss of both of his parents. Preston is 11 years old and is diagnosed with Autism. Just like many other families, COVID took a stressful toll on Mary and John, who dealt with loss of income and the challenge of supporting Preston’s educational needs at home through remote learning. The unexpected tragedy of Mary’s stroke during this time has been an unfathomable devastation to John and Preston.
Any contribution that you are able to give this family to help relieve the financial strain they are currently faced with is greatly appreciated. Please keep them in your prayers. We thank you immensely for your loving support.
