Let me introduce you to one of the bravest and strongest women I know!
This woman I am proud to call my Aunt. She loves her kids, family, animals and just living life. She is a fighter, and what a battle she has had and continues to have.
Here is her story and why we need your help today.


"My name is Mary. I am a mother of three children from Missouri battling stage 4 cancer. I have battled cancer most of my children's lives. My youngest two children do not remember a time when I did not have cancer. They were only 6 and 8 when I was diagnosed. I've missed out on so much just being weak and sick and wasn't able to be the mother that I wanted to be. They had to grow up too fast and they have missed so much of their childhood. And now they are still taking care of me.

I was first diagnosed in April 2012 with Stage 3 colon cancer. I had surgery to remove the tumor, had a port placed and underwent chemo. In 2016 the cancer reached stage 4 in my lymph nodes and spread throughout my diaphragm. There is a tumor near my aorta making surgery inoperable. My only option was more chemo. In 2018 I tried a controversial all natural herbal alternative treatment called hash oil that completely killed the cancer and cured me. I had a scan and there was no evidence of metastatic growth. It was a true miracle! Unfortunately the treatments became too expensive to continue with and the cancer came back.
My only other option is once again more chemo.
My body can't handle anymore poison. 8 years is way too much! This alternative medicine has helped me in the past, I need to start the treatments again.
I will need to be on these treatments for the rest of my life."

We are asking for help in prolonging and improving the quality of this fighters life. She is now on a fixed income on disability retirement since she had to retire from her government job of over 20 years. So on top of dealing with her health, her financial situation drastically changed. She cannot afford the treatments on her own and insurance only covers the chemo treatments.

Cancer has taken so much away from so many, including her. My Aunt doesn't want to miss out on the precious moments in her children and families lives. We all love her and want to keep her around as long as we can!
