Mary Barto Heart Transplant Fund

A longtime, local teacher is facing the biggest challenge of her life. Mary Barto will soon have a lifesaving heart transplant. Mary's insurance will pay for some of the costs , but she still will face huge expenses related to this procedure and her subsequent recovery. Mary, loved by many ex-students, their parents and others in the Blount County community, really needs our help. Educator friends of Mary have set up a go - fund - me account for Mary's expenses , costs that she simply does not have the resources to pay . Mary has given so much to this community. Hopefully, the community will give back to and help this loved woman.
