Mary Ann Joy's Fundraiser for Cerebral Palsy

My family and I want to do a fundraiser in a honor of my sister. who had Cerebral Palsy (more information on CP ) and passed away last week. We loved her so much and she was always a fighter ever since she was born. She lived longer than what the doctors believed but now she is resting in peace in heaven and taking care of us. We hope to continue remembering her by doing what we can for other families in need with similar experiences so this is only the start

We decided to host a gofundme for the Cerebral Palsy Foundation (https://www.yourcpf.org/) after looking through difference organization/charities. They are working to transform the lives of people with CP today through research, innovation and collaboration.

In just 12 months, they were able to reduce the age of detection from 2 years to 10.5 months with their Early Detection Initiative. This allows for patients to begin therapies and interventions when it matters the most that results in better long-term outcomes. Also, their Design for Disability is in it's 4th year which brings together designers to integrate universal design into their process and see individuals with disabilities.
