Mary Ann "Bugg" Swayney was recently fired from her job at Long House Funeral Home. No warning or reason was given. She had been employed there for almost 5 years.

Mary Ann is a single mother and is facing dire financial hardship as she now has no income. Alongside her termination, she is now also facing car troubles, with an upcoming doctor's appointment in Winston-Salem for her son's kidney condition. Before her termination, her hours had been cut at work and she has been playing catch-up with bills on a reduced income. Mary Ann loved her job; she always went above and beyond her duties. She grew close with and helped many families through her employment at Long House.
