Mary Ann and Douglas Johnson

Hi, my name is Chuck Conley and I am fundraising for Mary Ann and Douglas Johnson of Berea, Kentucky. I am 80 and my wife is an Alzheimer’s patient at Berea Health and Rehab, a nursing home. Mary Ann is an aide and has been so thoughtful and compassionate to my wife for several months. Recently her disabled husband had an aneurysm and continues to have issues with bleeding of the brain. The doctors have said his case is a miracle as he should have succumbed to the aneurysm. He is now in danger of constricting blood vessels in both the brain and coronary vessels. The doctors say he will probably be in the hospital, at least, another three weeks. This family is struggling and unless I can raise money for them they will become homeless. They have no extended family for mental or financial support. Bills are already piling up. There are two children at home, one with Autism, with Mary Ann’s grandmother, who is not well. Mary Ann had just committed to nursing school and now she will have to put that on hold. I have been a stockbroker and a CFO, so I can be of help in managing the funds that are raised. Mary Ann deserves a break. She has been a servant to the elderly and infirmed. I have seen her compassion in action. Please help.
