The Jensens continue to need our support
Donation protected
Hello friends,
In December, the Jensens got the news that Mary’s cancer has returned, metastasizing to her liver. This is a seriously concerning diagnosis, and Mary is back in chemotherapy, hoping to stop the cancer with a goal of remission. Although this is a significant setback, she continues to fight with optimism and positivity, doing all she can to support her health. We’re all praying for a miracle for Mary.
During this difficult time, Erik has been Mary’s greatest support but recently suffered his own setback. While working on January 25th, Erik severed four fingers on his right hand in a table saw accident. He was rushed to Portsmouth Hospital by ambulance and then down to Massachusetts General Hospital for emergency surgery to reattach his fingers. The doctors report that the surgery went well, and they are optimistic about Erik’s recovery, though it is still too soon to know if all of his fingers will heal. Erik will be recovering in the hospital for at least a week and was told that his whole recovery process will take a year or two. He’ll be unable to work for the foreseeable future.
Erik and Mary have been part of the Newmarket community for 40 years. They have been wonderful friends and community members. They are the most loving and kind people. They are incredible parents and grandparents. Having these two incidents happen at the same time is too much for their family to bear alone. They need our help. Please consider donating anything you can to help them get through this extremely challenging time while Erik is recovering and unable to work and Mary is fighting cancer. Your generosity will help offset medical and living costs. Together we can help ease some of the stress of this difficult period. Thank you for reading, sharing and donating. Your donation, thoughts of healing and prayers are so appreciated.
