In March of 2021, while the world was looking for an escape from the lockdown monotony, the Seidl family turned to it for comfort, as Doug was diagnosed with cancer. Being in lockdown, being together, never seemed like such a gift. Terminal cancer is a terrible beast, something a family should never be faced with. Daughters Maizie and Cleo returned home from school, grateful to finish the semesters online, in order to be there and support. Now they humbly ask for support for their parents. Their mother has always been careful about saving for a rainy day. Now, those funds are being used up without a second thought, as she cares for her husband, renovates their forever home, and plans a trip to Italy to fulfill his lifelong dream of seeing a Formula 1 race in Monza. If you are able, consider joining us in supporting their family during this difficult time. Any gift is sincerely appreciated, each is an opportunity for Maizie, Cleo and the ones we love to provide Mary and Doug, in some small way, peace of mind. We are grateful to have the support of so many loved ones at this time and appreciate your consideration in not posting this on a wider social media platform at this time.
