Hello, my name is Mary Amy, and I am an 82 year old retired teacher. I have 5 adult children and a grandmother to many. During my mid 40's, I chose to have a medical procedure to enhance my femininity, and I was very pleased with the results. Unfortunately, some 40 years later, I have now begun to have serious medical issues from the silicone erupting, causing leakage that has led to other medical issues. Due to the fact that this was an elective surgery, there is not a doctor or hospital that will provide the surgery to remove the tissue that is causing health issues and bodily harm. Additionally, because it was elective, insurance will not cover this. Therefore, I am reaching out to family, friends, church members and other benefactors in an effort to have the medical procedure required. Your financial assistance towards this effort is appreciated more than I can express in trying to share my story as to why I am in need of financial assistance. Of course, being on a fixed income would not begin to pay these out of pocket expenses, and all monies shared will go strictly towards my surgery.
