Marvin's girls

My name is Celeste. As many of you know and some don't, Marvin had been fighting for life since March. We were told a month into the hospital stay that we need to prepare if things take a turn for the worse. We were told that a second time that week. He had a chance but our healthcare in Las Vegas is horrible and does not have the care he needed. The girls, Marvin, and I fought for his life for months. We learned as we went how many shortfalls our system has here, starting with the impact of the negativity of the doctors. Marvin was one of those people who had to hear it from the professional. In this case, if the professional didn't have good news, it did not help Marvin be positive. As many live by, it's mind over matter. He kept fighting though, even though it was extremely difficult as the hospital stay continued to take a toll on him. We moved back and forth between facilities. Marvin never got to return to our home since March. I just wanted him to get strong enough to be able to come home and continue to get better at home. Sadly that day never came. We have medical bills to pay as he was in the hospital for five months. We have funeral and travel expenses, the girls had to quit their jobs at different times because of intolerant bosses, and I have to get an attorney and go to court for probate. As he recently passed we are not even sure what other unfinished business we have to handle. Most of these funds will go to his girls. My sweet man, I miss him so much. I did not really know an amount to try to raise. People have asked me over the months if I had set something up like this. The funeral alone is going to be this much with travel and other arrangements. We do not know how much assistance we have from death benefits right now. Thank you.
