Marvin was a kind and generous man. He would give the shirt off his back to a stranger. He was a loving husband who cared for his wife's needs without hesitation or complaint, as she suffers from physical limitations.

Marvin suffered a heart attack on September 11, 2020. 11 days later he suffered a major stroke which caused a complete left side defect. Marvin was left handed and had to have assistance with all activities of daily living. He was placed in a care center where he acquired Covid. He recovered from Covid but his condition continually worsened.  The care center became concerned about his health and sent him to the hospital to be evaluated. At the hospital they discovered he had advanced colon cancer and he and his wife were informed he only had 6 months to live. On January 22, 2021 Marvin was sent home from the hospital on hospice. 6 months ended up being less than a month. Marvin passed away at his wife's side on Valentines Day. 

Throughout the last 5 months Marvin and his wife (my sister) have incurred substantial medical expenses and funeral cost. The family is grateful for all the support and prays. We appreciate any assistance that will be used toward medical and funeral expenses.
