Marvin Brian Perdue, 64, of Iron Mountain passed away on Thursday, June 15, 2023, at St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay, WI. He was born on June 16, 1959, in Kingsford, son of the late Ernest and Lena (Sexton) Perdue. Marvin was a graduate of Kingsford High School, class of 1977. Marvin lived for music. He was a talented guitarist and was thrilled at any gig or chance to perform. Most of all, Marvin loved time spent with his family and friends. It seems impossible to think of his kind, gentle and fun-loving personality without cracking a smile. Marvin will be missed by his 2 children, Jeremy and Emily Perdue; their mother, Jeanne Castor; 3 grandchildren, Amelia, Caleb and Chase; 3 siblings, Lena Eldridge, Dallas Perdue, and Linda Makela; his sweetheart, companion and soul-mate, Gretchen Unrein; and many nieces, nephews, other family and friends. In addition to his parents, Marvin is preceded in death by his son, Jason Perdue, and a brother, Lane Perdue. Visitation will be at the Evangelical Covenant Church, 120 O Dill Dr., Norway, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 21, 2023, with Pastor Jim Danielson officiating the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be in the Dickinson County Memorial Gardens.

 *** Unfortunately, his family was not at all prepared for the financial burden that comes along with a proper funeral service and burial. A family member is currently covering the funeral expenses until they can be reimbursed. That is why I am reaching out to you all in hopes that you'll show your support. Any donation is appreciated.
