Donation protected
Marvel is our son’s cat. Three days ago Marvel, who is a little over weight yet typically never stopped complaining about how little we fed him, stopped eating. Then he stopped drinking water and stopped going to the bathroom and started throwing up bile. We took Marvel to the vet and the doctor there think that Marvel may have swallowed one of our son’s nerf darts. The dart is likely lodged in his intestine and unless he gets surgery, he’s not going to make it.
My wife and I got married in October. When we got married my family grew exponentially and I not only married the love of my life, but her son Jae and his cat Marvel too. We were planning on saving for a house, but Marvel is part of our family and we’ve spent the meager savings we have on getting tests and x-rays done just to figure out the problem, only to find out that it’s going to be another $5,000 to get him the surgery he needs. I know it’s the holidays and everyone is strapped for cash and I’m normally really bad at asking for help, but we just can’t afford the surgery and I just can’t imagine our 11 year old losing his cat over holidays.
All the money raised will go towards Marvel's medical bills and if there is anything left over we will be donating it to the hospital to help other animals in need. Thank you for taking the time to read this and please anything at all you can give will be appreciated more than you can imagine.
