Dear Friends, Family, and compassionate strangers,
One year ago I became very ill and ended up in the ER . I was suffering from stomach pain and my bile duct was obstructed . A stent was put in . After that with scans and a biopsy I was diagnosed with a pancreatic cancer. Unfortunately, where the tumor is located doctors told me surgery was not an option. It was devestating news but I began my fight with cancer. So in August of 2022, I started receiving aggressive bi-weekly chemotherapy it really kicked my butt.
In January 2023, I started taking an oral chemo pill. I take 4 pills daily since then it has been very hard on me. At this point I am praying for a miracle. I have lack of appetite, dehydration, and weakness.
On my good days, I like to get out in the garage and "eat sawdust".
I love making things out of wood such as pens, bowls, and pepper grinders. Before pancreatic cancer I enjoyed going monthly to my woodturners club .Currently, I struggle to walk and drive.
Financial help is the only burden. Treatments are costly and my resources are maxed out.
Funds will be used for treatments, medications, co-pays, deductables, and any unforeseen expenses.
Thank you in advance for all your love, kindness, prayers, and support.
Marty
