Marty's fighting cancer.

Hello my name is Marty Guthrie. I am starting this fundraiser because I have Squamous Cell Carcinoma stage 2. It's throat cancer.

     Let me tell you about myself, I'm 34 years old. I have a beautiful 6 year old little girl named Marigold and a gorgeous fiance named Jessica. I am a production worker at Cargill in Fremont Nebraska. I love to play with my daughter, liift weights and play video games. Unfortunately I found alcohol at a young age and I became an alcoholic. During those hard times I lost my only sibling, my big brother Mike Guthrie in a four wheeler accident, and the years were long, hard and lonely. In 2016 Marigold was born and completely changed me. I dropped the bottle, picked up my daughter in one arm and a dumbbell in the other and never looked back. Just as I got my life headed in the perfect direction I ended up getting a sore throat and a phone call that flipped my life upside down all over again.

    On Tuesday February 2nd I had surgery. They removed all the visible cancer from my mouth and throat and cut out 2 tumors that grew on my lymph nodes in my neck. Let's just say it's very painful.

    I am going to have a very hard time affording all of these Dr. Bills on my salary. If you can send anything it will be greatly appreciated. If you can't send anything, I get it moneys tight and inflation is rough, I take prayers too! Thank you so much God bless you!
