In Memory of Martyn Lee

To everyone that knew Martyn, we were all shocked and saddened at his passing the week before Christmas 2024.

He was a popular and very clever man, who would always find a solution to a problem, and if he couldn't buy something to fix a problem, he made it!

I am sure you all remember him as a genuine lovely man who was like 'The Pied Piper' of Castle Donington, for dogs and feeding these dogs with a handful of treats from under his work bench.

As we are his family, walking friends, dog walking friends and colleagues, many of us have discussed doing something to create a lasting memory of him at Spital Park. We hope to be able to do this by funding a picnic bench or bench seat in his memory.

It is hoped we can site it at the Park in a suitable position.

Should we have any funds left over, we shall donate it to his families' choice of charity.
