On August 27th, Marty got the call they've been waiting almost 5 years for. A kidney was available for transplant and after 4 years, 3 months on dialysis, they were off to Kansas City to get a kidney. A successful surgery is followed by weeks of testing and monitoring which will require Marty and family to remain in Kansas City area living in his camper. Please help Marty with the extra cost over the next few months as they live away from home. When my son had a transplant, I really appreciated the support of our friends and community.
