Hi. My name is Cassidy and I’m raising money to help pay for Marty Feldmans eye surgery. Martys left eye needs to be completely removed. We aren’t sure what happened to Marty, The vet Suspects that he was attacked by a wild animal. His eye is extremely perforated and infected. This surgery is crucial for Marty, without it he will have to be put down. Unfortunately the cost of his surgery is more than I can afford.

This sweet boy doesn’t deserve to be given up on, simply because of my finances.

I unfortunately don’t have much information to give on Marty. I know that he is definitely a boy lol. I saw him in the neighborhood about a year or two ago for the first time. I’d assume he’s about 3 or 4 years old. I’ve never been able to pet him or really get close. But he loves to hangout with my cats when they’re allowed to be outside (Always supervised). I typically would only see him once every other month or two. Until this morning… when I discovered this big boy sitting in my kitchen eating my cats food. He somehow unlocked my cats door and proceeded to let himself in and make himself at home, at first I thought it was funny, but then I saw his face and I was completely taken aback. I immediately grabbed my cat carrier and rushed him to the animal hospital in Newberry. He will be staying at the Animal Hospital, until he’s able to receive his surgery.

Im going to do everything i can to help Marty live a long and happy life.

Im not typically the type of person who ask for help, but I am desperately asking for your help to save Marty!

Update:

Martys eye inoculation went amazing!! He’s a fighter! Martys operation was done at Newberry Animal Hospital. While he was there he was also neutered, and was able to get all of his shots. Marty received dissolvable stitches in his eye that should be gone in about 60 days. Until then he will be confided to cat jail. Marty has a long road of recovery until he’s back to “normal”. But with lots of rest ( and treats) he will be good as new.
