1000 miles. Two wheels. One epic UK crossing. I’m cycling Land’s End to John O’ Groats.
Hi, I'm Mart and in August 2026, I am taking on the legendary "End to End"—cycling from Land’s End to John o’ Groats. This isn't just a bike ride; it’s a 1,000-mile odyssey across the entire length of the UK. I’ll be tackling over 50,000 feet of elevation, unpredictable British weather, and two weeks of back-to-back days in the saddle. Before this year, the furthest I have ever cycled was about 10 miles.
I'm doing this as a personal challenge, but I believe that something this big should serve a purpose beyond just personal achievement. Every pedal stroke from the rugged cliffs of Cornwall to the tip of the Scottish Highlands is fueled by a commitment to give back. I am pushing my physical limits to transform this cross-country journey into a vehicle for positive change.
Preparation is already underway. From training rides each evening to mechanical preparations, the road to John o’ Groats is long and steep. I am inviting you to be part of this journey—not just as a spectator, but as a supporter of the effort it takes to cross a country under your own power. Whether it’s a donation to the journey or a word of encouragement, every bit of momentum counts.
I’m self-funding the entire trip, meaning 100% of your donations go straight to a cause that counts. I'm still working on who or where I'll donate any money raised, but rest assured that I'll make sure it goes somewhere where it will make a difference.
