In Loving Memory of Martha Oscal
Dear friends, family, and community,
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the unexpected passing of Martha Oscal on April 14, 2023, while visiting her home country of Guatemala. She leaves behind her loving husband Otto, her 16-year-old son Jeremy, and 12-year-old daughter Keila.
Martha was just a ray of sunshine. Her big, bright smile and her shy, sweet personality would shine everywhere she went. She loved her family deeply, her number one priority. Was always driving her kids around everywhere they had to be, never missing an event. She had a love for pets, especially her little Rocky and Ella.
Martha's faith was an integral part of her life, and we want to honor her memory by coming together as a Christian community to support her family and celebrate her life. We take comfort in knowing that she loved Jesus and is now resting until His soon return.
As we mourn her loss, we want to support her family during this incredibly difficult time. We are launching this GoFundMe campaign to help cover all expenses associated with getting her back to Canada, funeral costs and to provide financial support to her family as they navigate this challenging time. Every little bit helps, and we appreciate any support you can give.
We ask that you keep Martha's family in your prayers. May God bless your generosity and kindness.
