Martin's Virtual Marathon - 22.04.23

 hi all, just wanted to let you know I managed to accomplish the target, not with the time I aimed for but nevertheless, it was great and the fact you have all donated for a good cause pushed me hard as I was close giving up around 30 km mark due to massive issues with cramps. thank you everyone again, I take all positives and negatives with me and Im pleased to say I had already signed up for London Marathon 2024!

hi all,

I have decided I would like to raise a few pounds for Children with Cancer UK by running a marathon and with that, I would like to ask for your kind support to raise as much money as possible and any contribution will be greatly appreciated :) 

Unfortunately, I wasnt lucky enough to get a spot on the London marathon  ballot in last 3 years so I decided to compete in the name of the above charity instead. 

From my point of view, there is nothing worse than not having a chance to live a full-fledged life, especially in the beginning of your journey as a human. I realise the amount I raise might not save lives but if it helps even one person or a family, Im all in. 

Im no athlete but I guarantee I will cross the finish line (somewhere between Amersham and Chesham, according to my proposed track) even if I have to go on all fours!!!

napadlo me, ze bych rad vybehl par korun pro anglickou charitu pod jmenem 'Deti s rakovinou' a to ubehnutim maratonu a s tim bych Vas moc popoprosil vybrat co nejvic moznych prostredku, a budu rad za kazdou pomoc!

Bohuzel mi to posledni 3 roky nedopadlo v hlavnim losovacim tahu pro London Marathon, takze uz bylo na case necekat na prilezitosti a jit do toho. Pobezim pod jmenem nadace v prvnim odstavci.

Podle meho nazoru neni nic horsiho nez kdyz clovek nedostance sanci zit plnohodnotny zivot uz v tak rannem veku, a potkat se s touhle chorobou musi kazdemu trhat srdce at uz je to kdokoli, nejen siroka rodina a kamaradi. Je mi jasne, ze castka kterou se snazim prispet nikoho nevyleci, ale pokud nekomu pomuzu, at uz jenom malicko, jsem all in :)

Urcite vsichni vite, ze nejsem zadnej Zatopek, ale garantuju ze se do cilove lajny dostanu (nekde mezi Amershamem a Cheshamem, kde mimochodem ziju), a to ikdybych se tam mel doplazit po ctyrech.

Diky za kazdej halir a za cas, ktery jste venovali k precteni tohohle mini pribehu.
