Aloha family, friends and those we meet along the way. Hope all is well. Thank you for taking the time to be here. I am reaching out to let you know that I am setting up a Gofund me campaign for my Husband Martin and our family, and we need your help! My Husband Martin just went though major surgery that was needed years ago, but due to Covid his first surgery date was pushed back in Vegas. We recently moved to Utah and started the process all over again but it took too long to find a surgeon to take our medical. A few days ago he started losing strength and feeling on his whole right side of his body and legs so I rushed him to the emergency room and they immediately knew something was wrong. The doctors did the emergency spinal surgery which removed the bulging discs but because the disc was pushing on his spinal cord for so long it caused a lot of damage killing his nerves and making his body weak and not able to move.
Martin will be in a neck brace and bed rest for 6 weeks then physical therapy for another 6 weeks. Keeping him out of work for at least 3 months but that's only IF he regains strength in his body.
Martin is the provider of our family. He will not be physically able to move and do everyday basic activities and I will need help with medical bills, prescriptions, therapy and what ever else medical won’t cover. On top of all of this, we have our children and monthly bills that will need to be addressed as well. They say it takes a village to raise a family. You all are our village. Please help with what you can.
