Martin's New Kidney
Donation protected
FINALLY!!! After 10 long years, dozens of hospital stays, surgeries, and successfully beating cancer, Martin is finally at the top of the active transplant list at Presbyterian St. Luke's Medical Center here in Denver, CO. During the past 10 years while on dialysis for 15 hours a week, Martin continued to work full time plus building his small businesses (medical staffing and home care for Veteran's). Unfortunately, a key manager took advantage of Martin and his compromised medical condition and embezzled a devastating amount of money from Martin's company. She has been sentenced to 32 years in prison for her crimes. Due to this woman and her actions, Martin was recently forced to make the difficult decision to close down his companies; taking away his and his family's only source of income. Martin and his family members are currently seeking full time employment. Martin's transplant coordinator has informed him that since he has been waiting for so long, the kidney transplant could happen any day now. He will be unable to work and recovering for 2 to 3 months. The money raised will be used for basic bills to support Martin during recovery. Any extra funds collected and not used will be donated to other kidney transplant patients in need of help during their recovery. Martin and his family are thankful for any amount of support, no matter how much. He would also greatly appreciate any prayers sent his way. Thank you all for your love, support, and prayers! ~ Martin's Family
