In memory of Martin O’Donovan

My name is Ian Roberts AKA Iggy to most of you that know me, and I’m reaching out as one of Martin’s closest friends, having shared countless memories with him since the early days of our apprenticeship together. Martin was more than a friend—he was a brother, a mentor, and a light in the lives of everyone who knew him. His infectious laughter, unwavering loyalty, and kind heart touched us all deeply.

It is with heavy hearts that we share the devastating loss of Martin. In this time of grief, I’ve created this GoFundMe page on behalf of Martin’s beloved family to show how much he meant to us all and to provide support during this difficult time.

The funds raised here will help cover unexpected costs, including funeral expenses, and allow the family some breathing room as they navigate this profound loss. Additionally, we hope to establish a lasting tribute in Martin’s name a way to honour his incredible spirit and keep his memory alive for years to come, whether through a memorial or another meaningful gesture that reflects who Martin was.
