Martin Jasiczek's Memorial Fund for Gabriella
Donation protected
Martin Dennis Jasiczek, a patient and giving soul, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 30. He leaves behind his beloved daughter, Gaby. She was his bright light, his joy, and she adored her father. This fund is set up in her name, to help provide for her future. Whenever Martin moved, his first consideration when choosing a new location was the quality of the school Gaby would attend. Martin himself was well educated and always valued learning. However, the debt from his education was also a cause for stress throughout his adult life. Helping provide for Gaby's education would be a wonderful way to honor Martin's legacy. Proceeds will be invested and provided to Gaby for help with the costs of higher education.
Martin was born November 13, 1975 in South Bend, IN. He was raised in Jones, MI, and Zumbrota, MN. At the time of his death he resided in St. Anthony, MN, but had lived and worked in many places throughout his culinary and baking career: New York, Phoenix, and Chicago, to name a few. He earned a Culinary Arts degree from Kendall College in Evanston, IL and a degree in Nutrition from the University of Minnesota. He was loved universally by children, they knew when Uncle Martin was around they could always go to him for a stick of gum or a piece of candy.
In the end, Martin gave all he had to give. Even in his final hours, he was able to give of himself to save the lives of others through organ donation. They say when someone you love becomes a memory, that memory becomes a treasure. The memory of Martin's smile and gentle heart has indeed become a treasure to all who knew him. We know he can finally rest in a peace he could not find on this earth.
Martin's memorial service will be Saturday, May 18, at 1:00 pm at Lundberg Funeral Home, 5839 Hwy 19 Blvd, Cannon Falls, MN 55009. There will be a visitation from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm prior to the service, also at the funeral home. Following the service there will be a celebration of life. Memorials made here are in honor of his daughter, Gabriella, to be placed in a trust. Online condolences are welcome at www.LundbergFuneral.com.
