Martin Jardine Fire Recovery

On March 19, 2022, tragedy struck the Jardine family as they slept in the early morning. The fire broke out in their home, destroying everything. Although Martin and Sue were lucky to get out of their burning home, it was not without consequence. Martin was severely burned as he reentered their house to ensure his wife Sue had made it to safety. Unfortunately, the family German Shepard could not be saved and remains in our thoughts. Martin’s burns left him in an induced coma at the Ottawa Hospital for almost three weeks.

Being the resilient man he is, Martin has started to turn the corner to recovery and is now awake and working on his rehab. First, however, Martin and Sue need to rebuild their future as they start from scratch.

Martin is not only a co-worker but part of the Leisure Days and Butler Group family. Martin is a salt-of-the-earth guy who would help anyone and give the shirt off his back. We wanted to start this Go Fund Me to support the family begin the rebuilding process. We hope that Martin makes a full and speedy recovery, but it will take time and effort.
