Please help our friend Duxy in his fight against cancer.

As most of you know by now, one our best friends and a Darwen lad, Martin Duxbury, has been diagnosed with a form of Liver cancer at the age of 39. Duxy, who has always been a beacon of strength and positivity is now having to endure a life-altering battle. To go along with his chemotherapy and immunotherapy, he has been trying everything he can to give him the best chance of winning this fight, but this has come at a massive cost financially.

He has been receiving a number of private, specialized treatments that aren't available on the NHS which include a Hyperbaric chamber, red light therapy, localised cryotherapy, para purge, Methylene blue, High dose Vitamin C iv drips and Hyaluronic acid iv drips. As you can imagine, these treatments don't come cheap, but he is willing to try anything to give him the best chance possible.

Duxy has worked all his life to provide for his young family, and is now unable to work due to having this illness. He lives a private life, and has never asked anyone for any help before, yet he is always the first to help anyone whenever it's needed. The decision to set up this crowdfunding page hasn't come lightly, we really didn't want it to come to this, but this is a last resort.

Please, if anyone could contribute any small amount, it would help ease the burden for him and his family massively. Your generous contributions will go directly towards helping them with costs of medication, continuing his specialized treatments, help towards transportation to appointments, helping with the cost of living at home, and ensuring he has the resources to fight this battle with all the strength he can.
