Hi,
We we have set up this page in memory of Martin and to assist his wife our friend Maria and her family.
After a sudden brain aneurysm, Martin Cowan sadly passed away on the 1st August 2023, leaving behind his 35 year old widow Maria, and his children. The family are deep in sorrow and now worry about how to adjust to this new reality.

Martin grew up in Newton Stewart, he went on to train as a chef and worked in many successful establishments. It was in Killin working at the Bridge of Lochay hotel that he met his soulmate Maria. Once married and having started their family they moved to the Western Isles. Martin fell in love with the way of life on the island. Martin and Maria both worked at Tesco for a long time (Martin then latterly working at the Co-op). He was a well-respected member of the community, as well as a loving husband, father, son, brother and most recently Grandfather. Martin's sudden and tragic passing has left his entire family and many friends completely devastated.

Please consider giving something to help their family cope with the financial burden this has brought with it.

Thanks for your support.
