Remembering Martin Cole (1943 - 2022)

Dear all, thank you so much for joining us to remember Martin "Smart" Cole, a kind and generous brother, friend and neighbour who passed away peacefully at home at the end of November. Family and friends have set up this fundraiser on behalf of the Cole family for all those who wish to contribute towards Martin's funeral and memorial costs and to ensure that he has a beautiful send-off! For decades, Martin was one of the regular and recognisable faces of Portobello Market - a resident, a collector, a trader, a stall-holder, and a dashing figure who was an intrinsic part of Notting Hill life. Martin had many friends, not just from the West London markets but also from the worlds of music, art and film, and we hope that all of us will join together soon to remember and celebrate an extraordinary man.
