Martin is one of my oldest friends from Torquay Golf Club we spent many a day playing golf and having a laugh with his brother Jerry and our other friends. Martin was a talented player and was the club champion on several occasions, he represented the club at Palairet, Torbay cup and South Devon League, he loved his golf and played across the county making many friends from other clubs, but when he met Caroline he found a new love and they soon married and started a family. He's a real family man, unfortunately he needed to have an risky operation to remove a tumor from his neck back in November, during recovery he suffered a severe stroke and has remained in hospital since. I'd like if possible to raise as much as I can to help Martin and his family through this incredibly difficult time.
