Martin Bredin‘s Recovery Fund

Hi everyone,

On October 1st my dad, Martin, suffered a brain aneurism and stroke. He’s been hospitalized and recovering since. The stroke affected the left side of his body which has left him needing to re-learn to walk and use his left hand.

My dad is strong. In the weeks he’s spent in acute rehab Martin has gained strength in his left arm, stood up, and even started walking with assistance. It’s no short of a miracle that he has recovered so well, but there’s still a long road ahead.

Moving forward we still have to face tough challenges. This tragedy has obviously changed my dad’s life drastically. The reality is he is left unable to work and will be unable for quite a while. These generous donations will help him with medical bills, housing, and a potential nurse to assist him while he continues his recovery.

From the Bredin family we want to say thank you, to everybody reading this. Thank you to everyone who has showed their love and support for us in a most difficult time. We all could not have gotten through this without it. Martin will recover and will live a long and healthy life. And with the help of this fund raiser, that goal will be just easier to achieve!
