My dear friend who i call a brother Martin Avery has recently suffered a mini stroke and is in intensive care in hospital in Cambodia where he works as a trainer running a gym and fights in the Khun Khmer circuit in the country. He is currently in intensive care and being kept stable with blood thinners to prevent his cortid artery from rupturing and having a full blown stroke. Currently there is no one in Cambodia capable of doing the surgery and he needs to be transported abroad for surgery. In his current state only blood thinners are keeping him alive but without surgery his chances of survival are extremely low. This is a life or death situation.

Martin has already spent all the money he saved up to keep himself alive and is now in need of more funds to make it possible to save his life.

Anyone who knows Martin knows he’s one of a kind one of the nicest guys you’ll meet who dedicated his life to being a Muay Thai fighter and trainer. He is only 34 years old and too young to leave us.

So I’m setting this page up now to try and get as much help as possible as it’s urgent so please any help anyone can give is appreciated and he needs all the help that’s possible

UPDATE:

First of all Martin and his family
have expressed how deeply thankful they are for everyone’s help and support ❤️

Martin has made it to Vietnam where he has had a pre operation surgery to explore what needs to be done. He needs two stints in the artery in his neck which means surgery costing $27,000 is required.

His family have already flown out to Cambodia and travelled with him to Vietnam where they are now staying with him in hospital. As you can imagine it’s all come at a big cost already and Martin is still short to cover his care.

The help from everyone so far has been amazing but we are not all the way there yet. Martin is now booked in for the surgery and it is going ahead however he is still short of funds to cover the entirety of it and the aftercare.

So once more just saying huge thank you and a big please to everyone to keep sharing this post and helping if you can
